Competency Development Centers seek to enhance capabilities

Lahore, March 27, 2014: In line with its policy of empowering its people, Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCBPL) has recently constructed and brought into operation two state-of-the-arts Competency Development Centers (CDC), in Karachi and Lahore respectively. These facilities will serve to enhance skills and capabilities of CCBPL employees through vocational education to be imparted by world renowned organization, City & Guilds of the U.K.

The CDCs in Karachi and Lahore became operational on March 5 and March 7, respectively. These facilities will help CCPBL employee’s gain valuable learning of international standards, which reflect the company’s commitment to its people.

CCBPL’s Director of Human Resources, Amara Bashir, said, “This is an initiative that is the first of its kind, as it is a great milestone for CCBPL. We strongly believe that investing in people is essential for achieving organizational growth.”
