Even as the world increasingly moves to online communications, the power of the written word still remains as strong as ever. It is not that online has taken a slice out of the print publications cake – it is more that online has supplemented print.
APR has full in-house capability to produce a range of corporate publications, including newsletters, annual reports, award-winning special reports, supplements, brochures, company profiles and even regular issue magazines. Our capability starts from concept development, to strategic writing and content generation, to design and layout, with only the final printing and production out-sourced to a leading printing press of Pakistan with whom we have a working relationship of over 10 years.
TBL – Triple Bottom-line
In January 2008, APR brought out Pakistan’s first (and still only) knowledge-based, CSR focused publication, the bi-monthly TBL – Triple Bottom-line, with the Vision: “To steadily facilitate the germination of sustainable visions for organizational growth, sharing specific triple bottom-line knowledge and tools.”
A total of 19 issues of TBL have been published, with original content from over 65 specialized contributors from more than a dozen countries. These include world renowned institutions working in the CSR space. Each issue of TBL is based on a CSR-related theme. The issues have focused on subjects such as the global food crisis, eco-efficiency, ‘hydroethics’, good governance and media responsibility.
A year after the publication’s launch, the website www.tbl.com.pk was launched, and already it has received visitors from over 180 countries! This fact has now led us to believe that the way forward for TBL is to migrate to be a dynamic, real-time online platform. At the same time we are progressing to expanding the TBL platform to undertake CSR / sustainability trainings and consultancy work, while creating new opportunities for people in the CSR space to network with each other.
Recognizing our capability for producing quality publications with original content, the Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP), a 40+ years old national network of marketers, assigned APR the task of bringing out their quarterly magazine, Marketing Review, starting from Q1 2011. The publication can be reviewed online at www.map.org.pk
APR has also now been assigned the task of producing Tetra Pak Pakistan’s quarterly news magazine, SPIRIT, which targets Key Opinion Leaders from different sectors in Pakistan. The first issue APR has brought out is the Q1 2011 issue.
