LG takes learning and education to a new level with its quiz show, titled ‘LG One School One Library, in the country, giving students a platform to showcase their talent


Karachi, November 05, 2012: LG Electronics, a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics,mobile communications, air conditioners and home appliances,has launched its Knowledge Academy programme for students. The programme, which includes a unique and the first-of-its-kind quiz show, titled ‘LG One School One Library’, (PARO AUR AGEY BARO) aims to engage the youth of the country in a high-quality learning experience on television.

Targeting students from Grade 10 to 12, the LG One School One Library invites them to utilize their knowledge and intellect in an enriching learning experience, showcasing their talent on a national level. The programme encourages the talent of children, engaging their minds in an intellectually stimulating show, giving impetus to their academic growth.

LG has begun its search for the best young minds in the country through an online selection process. Contestants were required to register online for the programme. The second filters for the final contestants are on online test. The final contestants are selected by a panel of educationists based on the evaluation of the online test results. A final set of 80 candidates are selected for the final contest. The winner of the grand finale stands a chance to win a scholarship worth Rs.1, 800,000.

The genre of the ‘LG One School One Library quiz show will be education, knowledge and entertainment.
