LG Continues With More Software Updates for Smartphones Across Entire Range

Another Wave of Previous and Current Generation LG Smartphones Gets OS and Features Updates for Latest and Most-Up-To-Date Mobile Experience 

Seoul / Karachi : 27 August 2018  — LG Electronics (LG) announced that the LG G5, LG K11, LG K10 and LG X power2* will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo OS, in line with the company’s renewed commitment to deliver long-lasting and reliable smartphones with consistent updates. With Oreo OS, Google has introduced a host of useful features that adds up to an even a richer and easier smartphone experience.

These new features include notification grouping, support for autofillers and picture-in-picture support for video. LG users will also be pleased to know that Oreo OS will offer significantly enhanced app performance and battery usage optimization.

K11 New features

In addition to receiving the latest smartphone OS update from Google, the LG K11 will also be updated with a couple of fun and convenient features. With Flash Alert, the flash of the LG K11 flashes in beat with the ringtone for any incoming calls. This is useful in certain scenarios when the flash can be a visual aid for users to not miss any important calls. Additionally, users that enjoy listening to music will appreciate the Flash Light feature, a new lighting effect that utilizes the flash to match the beat of the music that they are listening to.
