Habib Bank Limited launches its new Abu Dhabi Main Branch

HBL’s Abu Dhabi Main Branchis now open at the prestigious Landmark Tower on Corniche Road in Abu Dhabi.

Karachi /Dubai, –February 10, 2016: Habib Bank Limited (HBL) UAE has opened its new Abu Dhabi Main Branch at the Landmark Tower on Corniche Road in Abu Dhabi. The branch was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister(Ministry of Culture, Youth and Social Development), Mr. Sultan Ali Allana, Chairman HBL, Mr. MubasharMaqbool, Country Manager – UAE and Mr. Naveed Asghar, Chief Marketing Officer, HBL, along with other dignitaries from the Emirates.

On occasion of inauguration, H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister(Ministry of Culture, Youth and Social Development)said, “It is encouraging to see HBL opening branches at vibrant and dynamic locations in the capital of UAE. With innovation and digital channels, diverse range of products and banking solutions, the future role of the branch and service centers is likely to expand in UAE. We wish HBL success in their future plans in UAE, especially for for the Retail and Small Business segments, which are of great importance from Cultural and Social Development of the country.”

Opening of the new Main Branch in Abu Dhabi comes soon after HBL launched Car Loan & Small Business Loan by the name of Irtiqa. HBL Irtiqa caters to financing needs of small and medium enterprises in the UAE. HBL has also launched innovative features such as Fast Transfer(Home Remittance) via ATM, and transactional Call Center with a host of services.

HBL was one of the first international banks to launch operations in the United Arab Emirates, in 1967. “Since HBL opened in the UAE we have been actively contributing to the country’s economic progress through a number of initiatives, and we feel we now provide a wealth of services to our clients across the country, which we will continue to develop going forward. There are several new products and services in the pipeline for 2016 and beyond.” explained Mr. Sultan Ali Allana, Chairman HBL.

HBL’s new Abu Dhabi Main Branch will be open from Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 2pm. The Branch is located on the CornicheRoad in Abu Dhabi, with is conveniently accessible from nearby residential and commercial areas.
